Training aims

The objective of this training is to present the mixed, augmented and virtual reality market; Microsoft HoloLens technology and give you all the keys to effectively support the development of HoloLens solutions. At the end of the training, you will have the keys to define the profiles necessary for a good development team and to determine the use cases relevant to your business issues.

Training program

This training is intended for managers, business developers, commercial and general project managers with a digital desire and wishing to launch a project in mixed reality. At the end of these 2 days, you will have a clear idea of one or more relevant and feasible use cases within your company.

Day 1
Presentation of HoloLens and use cases, the keys to build a project in mixed reality

1. What is mixed reality ?
   • Differences with virtual reality and augmented reality
   • The devices available on the market and their characteristics
   • The perspectives of this market in the coming years
2. HoloLens presentation
   • Its technical characteristics
   • The different versions: developer & commercial
   • Its features: gesture recognition, voice recognition, spatial mapping
3. The prerequisites to launch a HoloLens development project
   • The necessary softwares
   • Presentation of the professions to be solicited to carry out the project
   • Build your development team and identify the essential profiles
   • The stages of production

Day 2
Co-design workshop. Let's determine together the best use case to meet your needs.

1. To your pens !
   • Brainstorming workshop to bring out participants' ideas on application cases. There are no bad ideas !
2. Guided group work
   • Deepen one or more use cases
   • Define the user journey and the storyboard to be able to carry out the project and realize the project effectively

Evaluation

Certification course awarded by the Actimage Academy after the test passed at the end of training
